As a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, I specialize in helping you connect more with yourself. Help ease the pain of loss. Relieve anxiety and control fear if an insect is near. Don't worry, you won't forget your loved one, or let insects crawl on you. But you will be able to move forward in a more positive balanced way. I will lead you to help push aside your conscious mind, that tends to get in our way and tap into your subconscious, implementing a new and healthier thought pattern or habit for yourself.
What hypnotherapy is
All Hypnosis is SELF hypnosis. That's right. You are your own facilitator. I am just your guide. Hypnosis is a relaxed natural meditative state that we all go into and where you are in full control. Your body is like a robot, it does what the mind tells it to and no one is in control of that but yourself. It's your subconsious mind that makes the changes. As I stated, I'm just your guide.
What hypnotherapy isn't
Hypnosis is not mind control or being in a state of unconsiousness. It is not being weak minded or gullible in any way. You will not go against any of your principles or core values. You will not be a zombie or black out. At no point will you be unaware of your surroundings and what's going on.
I do NOT take clients who are on heavy medications, have a mental illness of any kind or any other serious conditions. If this is the case, please see a medical professional.
who is a good candidate
A good candidate is an individual who is on their own, willing to come in and get a session. This person must also take full ownership of what they may or may not be doing in his/her own life. Anyone being sent by or for what someone else wants changed or anyone who blames another for thier mishaps would NOT be a good candidate. Please be sure you are willing to take resposiblity for yourself and come in on your free will.
what to expect
We must always start out with a consultation phone call. In the consultation we will discuss what may be the area of concern. One week prior to your appointment, I will give you homework pertaining to what you're calling about. I will call the day before your session to see how the homework went and this may even lead to realizing something else to work on first, instead of what was initially called for. It's why we do the homework. To make sure your session your calling for is truly what you need and to see if you're serious about wanting the change. Upon arrival we'll go through some fun Hypnosis exercises to get you in the correct meditative state of mind, go over your desired outcome, then start the Hypnosis process. I will bring you down into a deep relaxed state very gently and will also gradually bring you back and out of the state of Hypnosis. A week after your session, I will be checking in on you to see how things are going. Unless there are other underlining issues, one session is all it takes!
